Dried fruit and nuts (Odlično) |
Under the trademark Odlično we are trying to gather an assortment which includes different types of quality dried fruit, nuts and seeds. Raw materials for our products are imported from all over the world. We are especially proud of our programme called Premium which includes excellent Chilean walnuts and Californian pistachios.
Dried fruit, which is appraised because of its sweet taste, high nutritional value and long duration time, is fruit from which most of the water was removed. By drying the volume and weight of the fruit are reduced and the concentration of nutritional substances is increased (share of sugar by 70 %). The history of dried fruit goes way back to the 4th century B.C. and its use is still highly expanded today. The biggest level of demand is represented by traditional dried fruit such as raisins, dried plums, figs, apricots, apples and pears. Some products like for example papaya and pineapple are in fact candied fruit but are traded under the section of dried fruit.
Nuts are simple dry fruit and seed which are an important source of nutritional substances. Even though some of those fruits (e.g. peanuts, almonds, pistachio and Brazilian nut) cannot botanically be placed into the group of nuts we do however, in a culinary sense, place them into the mentioned group. Because the majority of nuts contains a very high oil level they are highly appreciated as energy sources. We can eat them raw, roasted, grounded or use them as cooking ingredients.

Fresh fruit and vegetables |
We are a distributer of fresh fruit and vegetables and are trying our best to ensure the best quality and a lot of varieties to choose from. We have our own storage facility and cold storage capacities where a constant control over the temperature of air is carried out and all rules of food safety regulations are followed under the principle of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point). The transportation of fresh fruit and vegetables is executed with appropriate means of transport. All the vehicles are cooled down and equipped with moderate thermometers which maintain proper temperature regime from 0°C until 12°C. When it comes to fruit and vegetables we also consider organoleptic testing (appearance, smell and taste).
